At this full day workshop you will learn about the causes of behaviour in ASD’S and how to deal with them. This workshop will include an investigation into underlying causes of behaviour including attention and arousal problems, movement disturbance, sensory perception and neurological differences. Participants will be provided with a comprehensive overview of behaviour assessment and intervention practices including: community based positive behavioural support, the ABC behaviour analysis model; the functions of behaviour and our responses to it. Assessment tools and interventions which have proven to be helpful will be reviewed.
